Privacy Policy

Short version: your images stay on your device.

Last updated October 4, 2026

Summary

Your images are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to us. We store only your theme and cookie choices on your device. Analytics or advertising would only run if enabled on this site and allowed by your consent choices.

1. Who we are

Ratio Finder Pro ("we", "us") operates the website at ratiofinderpro.com. For privacy questions, contact support@ratiofinderpro.com.

2. Images and calculations

When you open an image with the image ratio finder or resize tool, your browser reads it locally to measure its dimensions, show a preview and create resized copies. The image is not uploaded to our server and we never receive it. Calculator values are also processed only in your browser.

3. Information stored on your device

We use your browser's local storage for:

  • rfp-theme: your light or dark theme choice.
  • rfp-consent-v1: your cookie and consent choices, and when you made them.

These are needed for the site to work as you've chosen. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.

4. Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is used to deliver the site securely and fix problems.

5. Analytics and advertising

The site may use analytics to understand usage, and advertising (such as Google AdSense) to stay free. These are off by default. They are only enabled if you allow them in the cookie banner or under "Cookie settings" on the home page. If enabled, those providers may use cookies or similar technologies, and may process data such as your IP address and device identifiers, under their own privacy policies. Google explains how it uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

You can change or withdraw consent at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the home page footer.

6. Email

If you email us, including with the feedback buttons or contact form (which open your own email app), we receive your email address and message. We use them only to reply and to improve the site, and keep them no longer than needed.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal data we hold about you, and to object to processing. To make a request, email us. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Children

The site is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date below shows the latest revision.
